At Bracken Arts we inspire children to be creative with a very imaginative programme of fun art & crafts activities. We inspire children to create through a wide range of arts from Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Collage, Sculpture, Clay and much more.
Our popular Arts Camps & Workshops are designed & co-ordinated by experienced and qualified art & designed professionals in a safe and structured manner whilst encouraging each Child to explore & develop their creative-self in a warm, friendly & stimulating environment with is packed with artsmaterials, run by an experienced & creative teacher.
We encourage the use of recycled and natural materials as well as man made materials in our arts & craft projects. The class and camp numbers are always kept low, this is to ensure that no child is ever left behind or lost in the crowd.
Mindfulness For Children
We start each session with a few moments of 'Mindfulness' or 'Artfulness' as we like to call it at Bracken Arts.
Although the research on mindfulness with children is not yet as extensive as with adults, the results are promising and show that mindfulness has an incredible positive impact on the physical, social, emotional and mental health of young people.
Mindfulness sessions can decrease anxiety, stress, reactivity and bad behavior, increase concentration, enhance memory and problem solving skills, improve sleep, self-esteem and help young people better manage their emotions.
